Bland Reliable Root Filling Paste: Paste For Self Setting System.
Chemistry:
Ready
to use.
Contains
Calcium hydroxide, 5%, Zinc oxide 28% Eugenol 18% Chlorhexidine 2% Paraformaldehyde
3.5% Barium Sulphate 15%Hydrocortisone 0.5% and expient Base.
Indications: For Root Filling.
Contraindications:
Allergy
to any of the above components.
Suppurating
draining roots canals.
Consideration:
Prior
to root filling, root canal should be
reamed, filed and disinfected with Carecide thoroughly. The root canals should
be washed with LA solution and dried with paper points.
Procedure:
Mix
equal portion on mixing pad to smooth consistency .Careseal have a long Setting
time, provided the canal is dry and the tooth is free from Symptoms, the root
filling can be carried out.
1.
Cover a spiral or
lentulo with Careseal and in root canal to desired length. Slowly fill the
canal by slow clockwise rotation of spiral.
2.
Careseal is excellent
for use with GP point and sliver points. Select the appropriate GP point and
cover with paste and insert to require length. Cut off excess. Repack other
finer GP points and condense liner and restore tooth
Storeage:
Do
not store above 23°C
Always
replace right colour coded caps to right tubes to avoid cross contamination. Protect
form heat.
Caution:
Don’t
use if the patient has allergy to paraformaldehyde or chlorohexidine.
