This is a fast acting, optimum refractive index special Glass ionomer filling material with vacuum dried Polyacrylic acid. When water is added it produces an adhesive restorative material.
INDICATIONS: Permanent restoration of class III, V cavities, Fissures filling and restoration of hypersensitive cervical.
CAVITY PREPARATION PROCEDURE: Minimal cavity preparation is required, however all caries must be removed and only where the cavity is large and subjected to high stress then undercuts and dovetailing is necessary. It is advisable to line deep cavities with Calcium Hydroxide liners. Whenever possible the cavity should be lined with lightcure RestomerVLC-Glass Ionomer Paste liner (Calbase LC). This will effectively bond with teeth and restoration. It is translucent and will enhance shade of restoration.
USE OF CONDITIONER: Contains Polyacrylic acid in volatile base. It promotes adhesion. EROSION/ABRASION LESIONS: Remove all stains by polishing with Prophy Paste and if caries is present it should be excavated and lined. The conditioner still wet on teeth.
FISSURE FILLING: THE FISSURES ARE OPENED TO A DEPTH OF 2MM.
Remove caries etc. wash and dry.
MIXING RATIO: Powder 2 scoops + 2 drops water.

MIXING METHOD: Since powder tends to settle, it is recommended that the bottle should be inverted to fluff powder. Level fill scoop. The water dispenser should be half filled with distilled water and held vertically downwards to allow accurate dispensing of water drops.
The powder should be placed separately and divided into three portions.
The first heap of powder is incorporated into water as soon as it is wet, successive portions are mixed. The mix should be completed in 30 seconds with a consistency similar to composite resins.
RESTORATION: The procedure is similar to the use of composites and silicates. Where stainless steel matrix band is used, it could be coated with Vaseline.
The surface of restoration should be coated with varnish and lubricated polishing is recommended.
SPECIAL NOTES: This is an adhesive restorative material. The mixing base and spatula should be wiped with damp napkin just prior to setting.
The material contains Polyacrylic Acid. Avoid contact with eyes, in case of contact with eyes rinse well with plenty of water or use eye washer or seek medical advice if necessary. The container should be stored in a dry normal place. The lid must be tightly close immediately after use.
