This
is a light cure compomer liner base with added calcium salt complexes to allow
release of Ca2+ ions.
The
product has fast setting characteristics for use as liner and base under all
restorations.
INDICATION: For use as liner
and base under restorations. It can also be used as restorative to fix orthodontics bands and
brackets. It can be used for filling the cracks in tooth and fillings including
fissures
CONTRAINDICATION: In rare cases (delayed and long term) product
may cause hypersensitivity or allergy in some people. If such reactions are
experienced, discontinue use of the product and refer to physician.
Calbase
LC is an adhesive resin and contains acrylates and monomers.
Acrylates
may cause allergy.
READY TO USE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
USE:
Securing
tip to calbase LC syringe: Attach supplied applicator tip. Make sure it is
inserted fully and lock the needle. Check the needle is securely attached by
pulling it.
Dispense
small amount to check the flow.
Discard
the applicator tip after use and replace the cap immediately.
To
reduce dispensing of excess material after use slightly pulls back the syringe
piston.
CAVITY
LINING:
Dispense
Calbase LC directly into cavity. Apply tip to base of cavity and dispense
material sufficient to line the cavity ensuring the entire cavity base is lined
with a normal thin layer, Trim excess with probe or spread as necessary. Light
cure with composite light cure gun by holding close to resin surface for 40
seconds.
Check
the base sealant has set by pressing with a probe. Light cure for longer period
if necessary. With deep cavities that are close to pulp, it is advisable to
line the deepest part of the cavity with a Calcium hydroxide liner before using
Calbase LC.
Set
Time: Light cure for 40 seconds
CAUTION: In case of
contact with skin/eyes, wash with plenty of water and use eye washer as
necessary. Seek medical advice if necessary.
STORAGE: Light sensitive
material. Protect from light and heat.
Always
keep under dry conditions and away from direct sunlight.
Humidity
can affect the setting system, therefore store in a sealed form.
